Replacing the Window Regulator Motor

First, lower the window by about 5 cm to align the fixing clips with the two inspection holes.
Detach the internal cover of the handle and remove the entire window switch panel by disconnecting the corresponding connector.
Then unscrew the three screws located under the switch panel just removed and the other two on the lower edge of the panel.
At this point, you can detach the door panel by leveraging with a tool; then pull the panel upwards to remove it from the window seal; disconnect the cable from the opening lever and the other connectors before completely removing the panel.
Remove the rubber plugs present on the internal aluminium panel (one at the top left and the other at the top right) and detach all the cable clips present and the connector connected to the window regulator motor.
Then loosen the pins of the glass fixing clips and lift it, securing it to the door frame with tape (it is actually recommended to remove it from its seat by pulling it upwards and rotating it).
Disconnect the connector attached to the speaker and unscrew all the screws securing the internal aluminium panel and remove it from its seat (it is necessary to actually unstick it along the edges) disconnecting the connector linked to the central locking motor and the opening cable.
At this point, you can place the aluminium panel complete with window regulator system on a workbench to remove the window regulator motor to fit onto the new panel: be careful to remove the locking clip of the plastic gear wheel and not to let it come out of its seat; once the motor is inserted, tighten the relevant fixing screws. Then move the speaker from the old panel to the new one by removing the fixing rivets with a drill and a 5 mm metal drill bit; also move the rubber plugs and other fixing clips present.
Finally, apply the new panel to the door, passing the various cables through the appropriate holes and repositioning the various cable clips; secure it with the relevant fixing screws; reconnect the connectors; reattach the glass to the relevant fixing clips and tighten the pins: temporarily connect the switch panel and check the correct operation of the new window regulator system.
Finally, reassemble the panel, making the necessary connections.
