How to dismantle the left rear door lock on a Volkswagen Polo: disconnect the battery connectors located in the engine compartment, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the door panel; remove the plastic cover above the handle, unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the securing clips. Pull the panel off by hand and unclip it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Remove the adhesive cover and unscrew the handle and lock as shown in the video with the appropriate key; replace the lock and reassemble everything in reverse order.
