Installation of Aftermarket Front Headlights with Daylight

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

To remove the front headlights, it is necessary to remove the grille and bumper.
Open the front bonnet and remove the plastic cover over the power steering oil reservoir (just behind the left headlight), unscrew the fastening screws of the grille and pull it forward: to remove it, you need to disengage the bonnet release lever (remove the two retaining clips of the plastic cover of the lock and disconnect the lever's retaining clip).
Unscrew all the fastening pins of the bumper, including those in the wheel arches, and remove the bumper by disconnecting the connectors attached to it.
Then unscrew the fastening pins of the front panel and remove it.
At this point, unscrew the fastening pins of the headlights, disconnect the connectors from the bulb holders, and remove them from their housing. Transfer the adjustment pins from the old headlights to the new ones and proceed with the installation of the new headlights on the vehicle, reassembling everything previously removed.
