The "OBD port" or "diagnostic socket" on a 2020 Volkswagen Crafter is located inside the cabin. Specifically, the OBD port is found under the lower part of the left dashboard, beneath the steering wheel.

To access the port, it is necessary to remove the dashboard cover. Its use is recognised during the diagnosis of issues related to the control unit or other electronic components of the vehicle.

It is also used during the reset of warning lights and error codes. The OBD port is present on all new generation vehicles since it became mandatory in 2000.
