Let's see how the fuse boxes are arranged in a Volkswagen Passat B7: the cabin fuse box is located in the thickness of the dashboard, next to the left door, and opens by prying with a plastic tool (to avoid scratching the dashboard) in the notch at the bottom.

A second box is located opposite, in the same position, next to the right door.

To the left of the steering wheel (for left-hand drive), there is a small drawer containing 8 relays, which can be easily opened by pulling the handle down. Under the dashboard, beneath this box, is a smaller box with another 8 relays.

There is also a fuse box in the engine compartment, to the right of the battery, in a plastic casing.
