How to Replace the Starter Motor on a Volkswagen Polo

Before starting, open the bonnet of your Volkswagen Polo. Begin by removing the air filter housing by unscrewing the securing bolts and loosening the hose clips. Next, remove the battery and its support base. This will give you access to the starter motor. Proceed by unscrewing the securing bolts and disconnecting the electrical connector, then remove the starter motor itself, and you will have completed the disassembly. To fit the new starter motor, follow these steps in reverse, and you will have finished the replacement.
