How to Remove the Roof Trim Panel of the Volkswagen Passat B6

This guide shows how to remove the trim panel of the roof of the Volkswagen Passat B6. First, remove the sun visors and their retaining clips by unscrewing the screws protected by plastic covers. Remove the front side pillars by acting on the airbag clips and the screws underneath. Remove the upper handles using the fixing screws. Remove the central interior light by unscrewing the fixing screws and take out the screws securing the roof trim panel. Remove the side pillars secured with clips. Finally, remove the trim edge of the panel at the back and extract the roof from the vehicle.
