To reset the service light on a Volkswagen Passat, turn on the ignition by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once the dashboard is on, navigate through the onboard computer menu using the controls on the steering wheel until you find the "Tyre pressure" option.

Selecting this option will allow you to choose "Store" and finally "Confirm"; this will turn off the light. Before performing this operation, it is advisable to inflate the tyres to the pressure indicated on the sticker on the driver's door pillar.
