How to replace the diesel filter on a Volvo V50? Follow these steps: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket spanner, undo the securing bolts of the metal plate as shown in the video and remove it. Remove the securing bolts of the diesel filter housing and disconnect the various pipes. Extract the diesel filter housing and position a new one. Finally, reassemble everything in reverse order.
