To manually reset the engine oil light on your Volvo XC40, follow the procedure described in this guide. First, get into the driver's seat inside the cabin and ensure the ignition is off. Next, locate the button with the down arrow on the left side of the steering wheel and hold it down.

At the same time, press the start button three times in a row and fully depress the brake pedal. Wait for the oil light reset to complete, and you are done.
