Operation: How to replace the battery in a Volvo V40

In this video tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in a Volvo V40 by following a few simple steps: get into the car, turn off the car and pull the handbrake; lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate rod. With an 8 mm wrench we must unscrew the fixing bolts of the plate which is located in the front of the engine compartment. Once the plate has been removed, we must remove the air filter box, then we go to remove the box fixing clips and unscrew the screws, we disconnect the sensor; we go to remove the cover of the filter box; cover the suction pipe, (to prevent dirt from ending up in the system); remove the air filter. Remove the filter box from its seat. With a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the negative battery terminal and then also the positive one, loosen the nuts with a 13 mm wrench (without dropping the nuts inside the engine compartment). Remove the top cap with a screwdriver and unscrew the nut with a 13 mm wrench. Remove the battery cover retaining screws with a T30 Torx key. Unscrew the bolt of the bracket that holds the battery with an 8 mm wrench. Remove the battery and replace it with a new one.
