In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the pollen filter on a Volvo V50 by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to purchase a new pollen filter; the next step is to get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake.

The pollen filter on this vehicle is located under the dashboard on the driver's side; therefore, you need to unscrew the accelerator pedal support and then move it to the side, using a 10 mm ratchet spanner for this task.

Now, move the interior trim of the car aside and then return it to its original position. Remove the cover of the cabin filter box. Remove the old filter and then position the new filter according to the arrows present on the filter itself.
