The procedure for resetting the Service light on the Volvo XC90 is done by holding down the - button located on the left side of the steering wheel while the instrument panel is off. While continuing to hold down the button, the ignition key can be inserted and the engine can be started with the appropriate button. This will cause the maintenance light to start flashing and the button can be released when the light becomes steady.
