How to Replace the Thermostat on an Audi A4?

To replace the thermostat on an Audi A4, lift the vehicle and access the underside to disconnect the radiator hose and completely drain the coolant. Next, open the hood and remove the bolts securing the alternator on the side of the engine compartment. Once the alternator is removed, take out the thermostat from its housing and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, reinstall all previously removed components.
