How do you replace the engine oil on a Fiat 500X? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement: open the car door and pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Unscrew the oil filler cap. Raise the car on a jack (or column lift) and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump; allow the fluid to drain into a container (for disposal). Lower the car back to the ground, refill the new fluid into the engine, and close the front bonnet after maintenance.
