Replace the engine air filter on a Fiat 500 if you have driven more miles than expected. Here’s how to do it. Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the bonnet.

Secure the bonnet. Open the air kit, unscrew the securing screws of the filter container.

Remove the cap of the filter box and take out the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the filter container, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls.

Refit the cap of the air box and tighten the hooks. Close the bonnet.

Check all fitted parts.
