How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Ford C Max

Prepare to remove and replace the timing belt on a Ford C Max: lift the car on a column lift or jack (if necessary, remove the front wheel using a screwdriver to detach the right wheel arch liner). Remove the engine soundproofing panel and the timing belt cover; use a suitable spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Use a socket to unscrew the tensioner pulley fastening bolt, then remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump (previously removed), the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket. Refit the rivets along with the wheel arch liner and reattach the wheel with the tyre to the vehicle.
