How to Remove the EGR Valve from a Ford Mondeo

Let’s see how to remove the EGR valve from a Ford Mondeo. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then, using a socket spanner, unscrew the locking pins of the soundproofing panel (if present) and remove it from the engine bay. Start by unscrewing the fastening bolts of the EGR valve. Once the part is removed from its seat, unscrew the screws on it using a screwdriver. Begin cleaning the valve with a suitable cleaning product for mechanical parts, using a brush to assist with the process. Once the part is restored, reassemble the components together.
