This guide shows how to reset the engine oil change indicator on the Ford Explorer Mk5. To perform this operation, enter the vehicle with the key and press the start button twice without pressing the brake pedal. Using the steering wheel controls, navigate to the settings tab. At this point, enter the vehicle settings.

Locate the option related to engine oil life and set the oil status percentage to trigger the fluid replacement alert. Wait for the operation to complete and exit the menu.

Start the engine to check the success of the operation.
