This tutorial explains how to install a xenon lamp kit on a Hyundai Sonata. After opening the hood of the car, the headlight kit that will be installed, the relative wiring and the necessary instruments are shown. First of all, the halogen bulb positioned on the passenger side is removed and its electrical connection is disconnected. The same step is repeated for the driver's side bulb. Driver's side headlight: to install the xenon headlight, use the plastic cover of the replaced headlight but drill a hole of the right diameter to insert the new headlight and its wiring. Position the fixture correctly in its seat and take care of the wiring connections: the yellow wires must be facing upwards, the black cable must be connected at the top and the blue one at the bottom. In the video it is specified that for the installation of the passenger headlight it is not necessary to wire the two connectors (blue and black) to fork. At this point it is necessary to connect the wiring of the kit to the car battery paying attention to the correspondence of the poles. Use a 10mm pocket ratchet wrench to connect the spade connectors to the battery posts. Prepare and clean the areas where the control units will be placed. It will be fixed by means of double-sided adhesive plates and subsequently the connectors of the lamps can be connected to them.
