How to change the engine oil in the Infiniti EX yourself.

On the Infiniti EX, the oil change is performed with the engine warm. Secure the EX35 on jack stands, remove the lower protection if present, and place a container under the oil pan. Loosen and unscrew the drain plug, allowing the used oil to drain completely and replace the washer on the plug. Tighten the plug to the manufacturer's specifications. Replace the oil filter: unscrew it with the appropriate tool, lubricate the seal of the new filter, and screw it in by hand until it contacts, then tighten as indicated. Proceed to fill from the top through the cap on the valve cover, using oil with the specified viscosity/type; pour gradually, wait a few seconds, and check the level with the dipstick until it reaches the correct mark. Start the engine for a few seconds to fill the system, then turn it off and recheck the level, topping off if necessary. Reattach the lower protection, clean up any residue, and check everything.
