Installation of Fuel Tank Protection Plate

To install a fuel tank protection plate, you must remove the tank itself. Place a jack under the tank to facilitate its extraction from under the vehicle. Remove the fuel tank filler cap and unscrew the fixing screws of the filler pipe flange to the bodywork. From inside the cabin, disconnect the connector and the supply and return pipes connected to the fuel pump. Then, unscrew the fixing bolts of the tank to the vehicle chassis, lower the jack, and extract the tank. Next, detach the two metal straps securing the tank to the metal container (if necessary, straighten them with a hammer), extract the tank and insert it into the new protection container, then proceed in reverse for reassembly.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
