How to replace the diesel filter on a Land Rover Freelander 2? This video guide shows how to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the fastening bolts of the soundproofing panel on the cylinder head (remove it from the engine bay), then unscrew the metal plate as shown in the video and remove it. Remove the fastening bolts of the diesel filter container and disconnect the various pipes. Extract the diesel filter kit and position a new one. Finally, reassemble everything in reverse order.
