Replacing the Front Headlamp Bulb

Model: Mazda 6 GG, MK 1 - Years 2002-2008

To replace the bulbs, you must completely remove the front wheel to access the front lighting. Unscrew the retaining screws under the wheel arch and those under the bumper that secure the grille. Remove the grille from the wheel arch and you will finally have access to the headlamp. Remove the protective cover with a flat screwdriver and using a Torx 15 key, unscrew the bulb holder, which should be gently pulled from its seat after disconnecting the electrical connector. Place the assembly on a support and extract the bulb by removing the clips. Install the new bulb. Refit the bulb holder in its respective seat and reposition the headlamp assembly, reconnecting the relevant connector. Screw in the retaining screws and reassemble everything.
