How to replace the engine oil filter on Mini? Let's see in this video guide how to proceed with the replacement: we open and lift up the front hood, we secure it all the same. With a socket wrench we unscrew the large locking pin of the container cap where the oil filter is located. We remove the central ventilation grid to access the filter; take out the worn oil filter and place a new one. We lift the car on a jack and unscrew the oil pan pin; let the liquid flow into a container. Finally we top up the new liquid and close the front hood.
