How to replace the spark plugs on a Nissan Qashqai

Loosen the clamp holding the air hose with a 10 mm spanner. Disconnect the air intake hose from the air filter housing, and the connections linking the throttle body to the intake manifold, this time using an 8 mm spanner. Disconnect the clamp and remove the vacuum hose connector from the intake manifold using long-nose pliers. With a 10 mm socket, unscrew the fastening elements of the intake manifold support bracket. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold, continuing to unscrew its fastening elements, still with the 10 mm spanner. Now you can remove the manifold, completely unscrewed from its supports. It would be prudent to cover the manifold with a cloth to prevent dust and dirt from entering. Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the ignition coil bracket. Remove the coil and clean the spark plug housing with compressed air. Repeat for each spark plug. Using a 16 mm socket, unscrew the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs (it is advisable to use a telescopic magnet). Apply anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the new spark plugs. Treat the terminals of the new spark plugs with silicone grease. Now position them in their mounting seats. Screw them in and tighten with the previously used 16 mm socket. If possible, use a torque wrench to tighten them to 25 Nm to avoid over-tightening and damaging the threads. Now reinstall the ignition coil in the spark plug housing, ensuring you hear the "click" of proper seating. Tighten all fastening elements of the ignition coil with a 10 mm socket, and if you can, tighten them with the torque wrench to 9 Nm. Now reinstall the intake manifold, tightening all fastening elements, again with the 10 mm spanner. The torque setting is 15 Nm. It is recommended to take this opportunity to change the manifold gasket itself. Now reinstall the intake manifold support bracket, using the same parameters: 10 mm spanner, torque 15 Nm. Connect the vacuum hose to the intake manifold, tighten the clamp with long-nose pliers, install the throttle body on the intake manifold, and tighten the fastening elements with the 8 mm spanner, torque 16 Nm. Reconnect all hoses to their connectors and the air intake hose to the air filter housing. Reconnect all clamps. To ensure the job has been done correctly, run the engine for a few minutes.
