Another issue could be a dirty or clogged catalytic converter.

It is not easy to reach, but it could be a reason why the oxygen sensor gives an incorrect reading. Cleaning it is not straightforward, so the best solution would be to change it. Naturally, another reason could be the poor condition of the battery.

An issue could also be with the alternator, so the best course of action is to measure the output voltage. Another problem could be worn or dirty spark plugs; finally, there could be electrical or electronic issues, such as broken or worn cables, a short circuit, or a faulty ECU unit.
