How to Remove the Front Headlight from a Subaru Legacy

Model: Subaru Legacy MK 4, BP, BL - Years 2003-2009

As usual, to perform maintenance on the car, first position the vehicle on a ramp or immobilise it on a flat surface. At this point, if the car is on a flat surface, place two small ramps under the front wheels to lift the front of the car. Open the front bonnet of the engine compartment. Now, remove the grille and the bumper at the front by unscrewing the four screws (2 on each side) located on the upper edge of the grille. Release the clips located on the same edge and unscrew the screws at the bottom that secure it. This allows you to remove it. Finally, unscrew the screws that hold the headlight assembly in place. These are located around the headlight assembly itself (as shown in the video images). Disconnect the electrical wires and pull the headlight out of its housing. To fit the new headlight, perform all the operations seen but in reverse order.
