How to replace oil and engine filter on Toyota Iq? Let's see how to proceed with the replacement: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood; we remove the cap over the engine head. We lift the car on a jack (column bridge) and with a socket wrench we unscrew the large locking pin of the container cap where the oil filter is located (extract the worn oil filter) and place a new one. We unscrew the pin of the oil pan; let the liquid flow into a container. Finally we top up the new liquid (we measure the level with the dipstick) and close the front hood.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport
