How to replace oil and filter on a Toyota Iq? Let's see the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Unscrew the oil cap on top of the cylinder head; lift the car on a jack and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump; let the fluid drain into a container. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Remove the ventilation filter kit to access the filter and extract the worn oil filter, then position a new one. Finally, top up with the new fluid.
