How to Remove the Engine on Toyota Rav 4

How to remove the engine from a Toyota Rav 4? Lift the vehicle on a column lift to your preferred height, unscrew the oil sump plug and let it drain into a disposal container, then re-screw the plug. Unscrew all the side plastics of the engine cover (using a cordless drill), unscrew the plastic of the oil sump and pull it off with a screwdriver. Unscrew the belt pins, remove the plastic panel on the cylinder head, and pull out the dipstick. Disconnect all the connectors from the pipes in the engine bay, unscrew all the cylinder head bolts and remove it along with the gasket. Remove the air filter kit to access the throttle body; without removing the filter, you cannot disassemble it. Use pliers to disconnect the metal clips from the various hoses and the fuel connectors. Unscrew the lower securing bolts of the engine exhaust and carefully pull it out of the bay. Another step is to remove the alternator with its cables, remove the engine chain guard with all its pins, pull the chain out of its seat, and now unscrew the cylinder head with a cordless drill. Remove the battery from the engine bay and all the electrical components disassembled so far. Finally, disassemble and remove the engine block. Extract the engine using a chain and hoist.
