Let's see how to replace the engine air filter on a Volkswagen Polo: open the car door, pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the metal prop. Remove the soundproofing panel of the engine (where the filter is located); open the air intake kit (unscrew the securing screws), uncover the box panel, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, reassemble the air box panel and close the front bonnet after maintenance.
