Let's see where the fuse boxes are located in the Volkswagen New Beetle, as shown in the video diagram: we will find high-power fuses located directly on the positive terminal of the battery; the relay panel is located under the steering wheel, at the bottom of the dashboard, so we need to remove the plastic cover to access it; the fuses are located in the thickness of the dashboard, in contact with the left door. To access them, we need to lever with a small screwdriver in the designated slot to open the cover. The automatic pre-heating control unit is located in the centre of the plenum (for engines with code BEW). An additional relay is located in a protective housing on the left in the engine compartment (for models produced from 2002 to 2005).
