How to Remove the Front Headlight from a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

Learn how to remove the front headlight from a Volkswagen Polo along with the bumper. Lift the engine bonnet and secure it. Using a socket spanner (battery-powered screwdriver), undo the securing bolts of the front bumper located at the top (remove the central grille). Once this operation is complete: undo the bolts on the wheel arch liners and remove the bolts at the bottom of the bumper. Remove the bumper from the vehicle body by hand. Undo the bolts of the headlight (front position); you will find additional bolts at the bottom of the headlight, undo them from the metal plates (repeat the same operation for the pair of headlights). Disconnect the bulb holder from the headlight and extract it from the vehicle body. Fit the new headlight with new bulbs if damaged.
