Removing the Front Bumper on a Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

Replace the front bumper if damaged. Here’s how to remove the front bumper of a Passat. Lift the bonnet and secure it. Remove the securing screws located above the central grille, then take the piece off the central bumper. Raise the car with a jack and begin unscrewing the screws at the bottom of the bumper, then unscrew the screws in the wheel arch liners. Unscrew the remaining screws on the front bumper. Remove the bumper from the bodywork by hand. Refit the bumper onto the bodywork and proceed to tighten all screws around the wheel arch liners and around its perimeter. Refit the grille at the end of the assembly.
