How to Dismantle the Front Headlamp of a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

Before you can start, open the bonnet of your Volkswagen. Begin by releasing the rear latch of the bonnet. Next, unscrew the screws of the front grille located near the corners of the front headlights using a Torx T25 screwdriver. Once done, you can remove the front grille, revealing the fixing screws of the bumper, which also need to be unscrewed and removed, followed by the screws located in the front wheel arches. Once you have completed this step, you can remove the front bumper, allowing access to the fixing screws of the headlamp. Proceed to unscrew these screws, then extract the headlamp from its housing. After completing this step, disconnect the rear electrical connector, and you will have finished the dismantling.
