Volkswagen Up - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Up
MK 1
- Years 2011-2024 We arrange our car, in this case a Volkswagen Up, on the bridge or on a plane so that we can work on it in conditions of safety and stability in order to safeguard our safety (this precaution should be taken whenever an operation is to be carried out maintenance on a car). Now, open the front engine compartment hood by pulling the lever at the bottom left of the driver's seat. We open the cap of the mouth in which to pour the engine oil. We lift the front of the car, using the jack and fixing it with supports. We identify the bolt that closes the oil evacuation hole and, after placing a basin underneath, we unscrew it and let everything present come out. We screw the bolt back on. We find the position of the oil filter (placed between the radiator and the engine body) and, using the suitable wrench, unscrew it and replace it with the new one. We pour the new engine oil into the appropriate opening. And that's it!

Frequently Asked QuestionsFiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacementLet's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level! by ScegliAuto More videos
