How to reset the EPC light on the Volkswagen Polo?

The EPC light indicates a warning from the Electronic Power Control system, which manages the ignition and fuel supply to the engine. Generally, this light illuminates on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Polo when there are issues related to the throttle body sensor: therefore, by opening the bonnet and accessing the right side of the engine block, you can disconnect the old sensor, clean it, and reconnect it. In some cases, it may be necessary to completely replace the sensor; once it has been cleaned or replaced, you will find that the EPC light is off.
