Removing the airbag in a Volkswagen Polo is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, to work safely and avoid accidental activation, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Next, go inside the cabin and locate the two holes on either side of the steering column cover. Insert a screwdriver into these holes, lever it, and release the securing clips. At this point, you can remove the airbag from the steering wheel and disconnect the power connector.
