To reset the service light on a 2005 Volkswagen Touran, first complete the required service tasks such as replacing the air and oil filters and fluids, and checking the engine, brakes, and timing belt. After that, you can reset the service light.

First, turn the instrument cluster on and off, then press the right button on the instrument cluster. Next, hold the button until the light starts flashing.

Then, turn the left dial to select "SERVICE INTERVALS" and turn off the cluster. Finally, turn on the vehicle's instrument cluster to confirm the reset.
