Removing the Center Console of Your Car
Model: BMW Serie 5
E39
- Years 1995-2003
The following guide shows how to remove the center console of your car, which is the part located between the two front seats, housing the parking brake and the shifter, and connecting to the dashboard with a fitting at the bottom of the center panel. To remove the rear part, lower and remove a tab and unscrew two Torx screws, in addition to removing the 10 mm bolt under the window switch. Then, disconnect the shifter boot from the console itself; you may have some difficulty pulling the console out due to the parking brake lever, but just apply a bit of force and the procedure will be completed.

How to Remove the Steering Wheel of an Audi A3
How to disassemble the steering wheel of an Audi A3? Follow these steps for removal. Before removing the airbag from the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals; insert the removal keys into the slots at the back of the steering wheel and unlock the airbag. Once the airbag is released, disconnect its power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the large central bolt and remove the steering wheel from the column. For reassembly: insert the steering wheel onto the steering column and tighten the nut, then connect the airbag power connector and press it back onto the steering wheel (tighten the securing bolts). by ScegliAuto More videos
