As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the rear light bulbs in the BMW 3 Series is an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then open the trunk and, preferably using a plastic spatula to avoid leaving marks, detach the cover located on the inner edge of the headlight in question. Next, unscrew the two fixing bolts with a 10mm socket wrench, pull the light towards the outside and separate it from the bodywork. At this point, all that remains is to open the inner plate, replace the bulb, and reassemble everything.
