Clutch Replacement on the Citroen C4 Picasso

The procedure for replacing the clutch is quite complex, let's summarise it as follows: Lift the car and remove the front wheels, remove the lower soundproofing cover, remove the plastic cover protecting the wheel arch, then remove the bolts securing the anti-roll bar and all the bolts fixing the front suspension assembly. Next, unscrew the oil drain plug and remove the right wheel hub. After that, loosen the bolt securing the CV joint on the differential and extract the joint itself, remove the starter motor and the metal cover protecting the clutch. Go back to the top of the engine bay and remove the battery and ECU support plate, disconnecting all the cables. At this point, you will have access to the clutch assembly from above, first remove all the electrical connectors from the sensors. Then proceed to remove all the upper pins of the clutch assembly and lower the jack supporting the engine. Finally, unscrew the bolts securing the cover containing the clutch and remove it; at this point, you will finally have access to the clutch disc which can be extracted. Lastly, take the new clutch assembly and refit it, then proceed to reassemble all the components in reverse order.
