How to Reset the Service Light on Ford Transit

To reset the service light on a Ford Transit, sit in the driver's seat and ensure all doors are closed. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Press both the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal simultaneously and hold them down for about 15-20 seconds. A message will appear on the instrument display indicating the reset of the maintenance interval or engine oil. Continue holding the pedals until the confirmation of the reset appears. At this point, release the pedals, turn off the ignition, and wait a few seconds. Turn the ignition back on to check that the service light has been reset correctly and that no maintenance warnings appear.
