Reset Service Light on Ford Transit Custom

Model: Ford Transit MK 8 - Years 2014-2024

When the service warning light appears on the instrument cluster, it indicates that maintenance is due. After replacing the engine oil and filter, reset the light without diagnostic tools. Sit in the driver's seat and close all doors. Press the key's lock button, then the unlock button. Insert the key into the ignition, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously, and while holding them down, turn on the ignition and wait at least 20 seconds. Turn off the ignition, remove the key, and press the lock and unlock buttons again. When you turn on the ignition next time, the light should be off.
