How to Reset the Engine Oil Change Light on the Ford Mondeo Mk3

This guide shows how to reset the engine oil replacement light on the Ford Mondeo Mk3. The reset procedure is very simple and quick, requiring no diagnostic equipment. With the ignition off, press both the accelerator and brake pedals fully down at the same time. While holding the two pedals, turn on the ignition and wait for about 15 seconds until the message confirming the reset appears. At this point, confirm the reset by pressing the "OK" button on the steering wheel controls. Turn off the ignition and release the pedals. Start the vehicle to check that the procedure has been completed correctly.
