How to remove the steering wheel with airbag on a Land Rover Freelander? This is a straightforward operation if you follow the steps. First, disconnect the battery terminals before removing the steering wheel.

Then, insert a screwdriver or a medium-length bit into the side slots on the steering wheel and unscrew the securing pins. Once the pins are removed, disconnect the terminals and detach the airbag, then pull the steering wheel from the steering column.

For reassembly: connect the power terminal, then insert the steering wheel onto the column, press it in until it is fully seated, screw in the securing pins, and position the airbag.
