Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

Lift the vehicle on suitable ramps; open the hood and remove the plastic engine cover: at the front, in the center position, is the oil filter housing. Position a drain pan of appropriate capacity under the oil pan and remove the drain plug after taking off the splash shield; use the appropriate socket wrench to unscrew the filter housing cap, pull out the old cartridge, and insert the new one, also replacing the set of O-rings. Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to the SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the owner's manual.
