The throttle body is located at the inlet of the intake manifold and has the function of regulating the flow of air entering the engine according to the position of the accelerator pedal: cleaning this device is essential to ensure correct operation; then disconnect the sleeve that connects the engine air filter to the throttle body and the socket connected to the throttle body itself; then unscrew the fixing pins and remove the throttle body from the intake manifold together with the filter net; then proceed with cleaning both the throttle body and the filter while if you also want to clean the intake manifold it is suggested to disassemble it and not to spray anything inside it: if some pieces of encrustation become detached, it could end up in the cylinders and block some valves ; proceed in reverse for installation.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat.
