Replacement of the EGR valve on Peugeot Boxer

Let's see how to replace the EGR valve on a Peugeot Boxer that gives us a slow response from the accelerator, especially when releasing and pressing the pedal. First, we remove the engine undertray to access it from below. The EGR valve is located at the rear of the engine, behind the radiator fans. We disconnect the electrical connector of the valve, unscrew the two bolts that secure the valve to the engine exhaust manifold, and also those that secure it on the other side to the gas return pipe. We take the opportunity to clean and check the sensors that have been contaminated, such as the MAF sensor that we will clean with a specific spray, and the MAP sensor that is mounted near the EGR pipe and is prone to getting dirty. A new original Peugeot valve can be very expensive, but used ones in excellent condition can be found online. Install the new valve, reassemble the cleaned MAF, reconnect all electrical connectors, and restart the engine. It will be necessary to use a diagnostic tool to clear the error codes.
